How PickPrism chooses products
We start from the buying problem, not the product. For each guide we decide which specifications genuinely change the outcome for that use case, weight them accordingly, and score every candidate against published manufacturer documentation. The weighting is shown on the page, so you can disagree with it.
We do not physically test products, and we never pretend otherwise. What we publish is research and analysis — clearly separated from anything we could not verify.
- Evidence first. Every specification cites the document it came from.
- Context-weighted. A guide for small apartments ranks differently to one for large houses.
- Trade-offs stated. Each pick lists who should skip it.
- Missing data shown. If a manufacturer does not publish a number, we say so.
